Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The quirky rooms were full of character, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. While there was some noise from the street and nearby railway bridge, I got used to it by the second night. The service was friendly and efficient, especially on the ground floor, although there were minor lapses in attention to detail. The location was bustling and convenient, right in the center of town, although noise from staff rooms could be bothersome. The dining experience was surprisingly good, with delicious options at a reasonable price.
The hotel offers relatively modern rooms that could benefit from double glazing to reduce noise from the busy road outside. The service, though slow to acknowledge our arrival, became exceptionally helpful and created a real home-from-home feel. The location in a beautiful village and the facilities offered make it a great base for exploring the surrounding area.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Hungerford, making it ideal for exploring the town. The rooms are small but well-designed, and the staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The dining options are great, offering a nice selection. However, the variability of the breakfast buffet can be a downside. Overall, a great value for money stay in a convenient location.
